Pumped Up-PD
To ensure the development of the whole child, an educator realizes the value of including and collaborating with parents and community members. A teacher must strive to become their own community-liaison.
Teachers- Invite parents to classroom and school-wide functions. Involve local businesses to enhance the classroom experience and keep an open-door policy.
Educators must be of sound mind and body to be effective in the classroom. This means taking care of themselves from the inside-out and managing mental and physical health.
Teachers- Treat yo'self!
Passion
Burnout happens. Teachers enter the profession understanding this is a reality and must seek and create a system of support from outside agencies to maintain the passion.
Teachers- Commit to being the positive light willing to inspire others and continually maintain an optimistic attitude.
Policy
Let's get informed on the law. Understanding the rights of educators enables them to become more powerful and aware teachers that can advocate for what is just.
